Dr. Mohammad Masum Fakir is a Senior Dental Surgeon with 25 years of clinical practice experience. He completed his BDS from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka, mastering surgical dentistry, oral pathology, and maxillofacial foundations with hospital residency training.
To advance public health systems and epidemiological oral disease control, Dr. Fakir completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Northern California (UNC), USA, and an additional MPH from Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology (ADUST), Dhaka.
Dr. Fakir held leadership as Department Head and Associate Professor of Dental Public Health at Update Dental College & Hospital, Dhaka, where he trained and guided graduating dental surgeons, curated hospital internship modules, and led community outreach initiatives.
Over his quarter-century career, he has successfully treated thousands of patients suffering from complex pulp necrosis, impacted wisdom teeth, severe periodontal infections, and diabetic dental complications with hospital-grade sterilization.
